Less than a week ago, our bargaining team reached Tentative
Agreement with the State for our next contract.
It’s a contract that includes a three-year, 10% salary increase,
and additional salary adjustments for more than 300 job
classifications. We preserved our health care stipend, reduced
the pre-funding of our retirement, and added or maintained dozens
of skill-based and retention differentials, increases in uniform
allowances, and other reimbursements … along with improvements in
working conditions.
