We will be joined by the Department of Education on September 20th at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET to understand, navigate, and manage student debt. The Department of Education will offer guidance on available relief or forgiveness options, such as Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF), Income-based repayment plans, and more. We will also preview the Biden administration’s new student debt forgiveness plan and explain how participants can take part in the process.
As SEIU members, we are healthcare professionals, educators, childcare providers, airport workers, and more. As workers who have been on society’s frontlines during the past two years of a pandemic, we are in desperate need of the economic relief that student debt cancellation would provide.
