In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and the Personal Leave Program (PLP) 2020 Side Letter, the $260 benefit payment tied to Improving Affordability and Access to Healthcare will be removed with the July 2022 pay period for SEIU Local 1000 represented employees not enrolled in a CalPERS health plan. SEIU Local 1000 represented employees enrolled in a CalPERS health plan will continue to receive the $260 benefit through June 2023. CalHR has announced a special open enrollment for Flex and CoBen cash from April 1-30, 2022, for those eligible employees.
