Why Politics Matters to Union Members

Politics isn’t just about elections—it’s about ensuring policies reflect the needs of hardworking people like you.Decisions made by elected officials can impact:

  • Pay and benefits for state employees.
  • Funding for public services that you rely on daily.
  • Laws and protections for safe, equitable workplaces.

As a union member, your voice and action can help shape these decisions. By participating in our Regional Political Meetings, you’re stepping up to protect what matters most: your rights, your job, and your future.
