Local 1000 members are going to the polls Wednesday to cast their votes to ratify the temporary employee compensation compromise reached with the governor last Friday.

On the broadcast, you'll learn more about the temporary pay cut, and what Local 1000's member-elected bargaining team was able to negotiate regarding the reduction of student assistants, non-mission critical retired annuitants, and a new task force that will save state jobs by reducing or eliminating private vendor contracts.
